Lava Proximity Hike:(Not available at this time)
See and feel the heat of molten lava up close and personal when allowable. If Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (HVNP) and/or Civil Defense allows access…we go! Your guide will get you all the way there if you have the capabilities and if it is legal. This can be a physically challenging hike over loose, rugged, and rocky terrain. Guests will be picked up at an appropriate time and will be chauffeured to the best location for viewing and/or hiking to the lava. Meeting on location is also possible.

Kalapana and Kapoho:
Visit "the other side" of Kilauea Volcano. Rich in beauty, power, and volcanic activity. The quaint, sleepy town of Kapoho suffered devastation by lava in 1960, then in 1990 Kalapana experienced a very similar fate. See what remains of these towns and exlore the sites between them.
